The Neston Music Festival

Clive Edwards writes, "The Neston Music Festival concludes with two major concerts, one by Dale Storr "Sounds of New Orleans"  on Wednesday 22 May  at Neston Cricket Club and the other by The Original Panama Jazz Band on Friday 24 May at Neston Civic Hall. Both concerts start at 7.30pm. Tickets at 7.50 will be available on the door.  Both venues have a bar. There is ample parking at the Cricket Club and park in Neston's large free car park for the nearby Civic Hall.

Dale Storr played at the Keswick Jazz Festival in 2018. He is a brilliant pianist, who tells tales and sings and plays the music of the latter day New Orleans piano greats such as Fats Domino and Professor Longhair. The Panama band will play a special programme to highlight the music of the Chicagoans, such as Eddie Condon, Benny Goodman and Jack Teagarden and many others and of Alex Welsh, who carried the flame to the UK. Jacky will join them on vocals.

Do come and help us finish the Festival with jazz bang! "
